Oyster cookin’

Hello all you Dolphins,As promised, here is an update in regards to Casini Ranch located on the beautiful Russian River.

Holger and I just made reservations and will be in site C7 this year. I checked with the reservation desk and all other sites in rows B and C are currently open so if you plan on going and want to be part of the Dolphin Group, I suggest that you make your

own reservations soon. You can make your reservations via phone at 1 (800) 451-8400 daily between 8 and 4 PM. Or you can make your reservations on line at https://v3.bookyoursite.com/casini/reservation. As in years past, this outing will go from Friday through Monday AM – February 15 through Monday AM February 18, 2013.

Please plan on sharing hors d’oeuvres both Saturday and Sunday in the early afternoon. Currently, the plan is to head into Bodega Bay (the Tides) late Saturday morning to go purchase oysters – so bring those dollar bills as well as a variety of yummy dipping sauces for the raw and BBQ’doysters. The potluck dinner will be on Saturday PM – Marylin and I will attempt to reproduce Lisa Knoles’ famous clam chowder as part of the potluck dinner… add pepper to taste this year 🙂 For additional information, please visit their website at:
